Chapala Haciendas is a little North of Chapala, about 5 minutes by car. With the exception of the dogs, it is a quite community nestled in the hills. It lacks stores and resturants, but this makes it very peaceful and pleasant. There are many nice homes, lots of which are empty, maybe because they are temporary homes of snowbirds. In Haciendas 1 and Haciendas 2 the views are generally not spectacular, but in Haciendas 3 wow, I could only imagine how beautiful the views would be to live with. I have included photos but they don't do the view justice.
